I was so very saddened to hear about Carole’s death. We didn’t talk often but when we did, I always knew we were kindred spirits when it came to our love of our animals. She was very generous with her knowledge of knitting, spinning, and I was always inspired by the way she used her creative talents to the fullest. I do hope her family will be comforted by how many people’s lives she touched in a positive and heartwarming way.
Carole helped me out so much when I worked in Greenfield at Service Net, and she was so sup- portive of me. My husband and I always thought that the eggs we bought from her were the best eggs we ever had! We also greatly enjoyed visiting with her outside work and hearing about her farm. Strangely, today we found a postcard in a pile of old papers with a picture of Minnie Bisbee. It didn’t have Carole’s name on it, just the farm name, and we weren’t sure who had sent it, since we also know some Bisbee’s. We looked it up online and were tearful when we learned that the farm was Carole’s farm and she had died last year. :-(…The last time we talked to her, she was planning to go to Florida to take care of a family member, and we had no idea she stayed here and lost her contact info. We are not on Facebook. We are so, so sad to learn of her death, and were tearful to hear about it. Please send our late condolences to her family. Also, please let us know how we can donate to the Carole’s Furry Friends fund without going on Facebook? We hope it is still possible and pray the animals are still okay. Sincerely and tearfully, Valerie and Pete Bowlby at vbowlby9@earthlink.net.

My thoughts are with Carole’s family and friends. May their fond memories bring them comfort now and in the future.
I am so sorry to read of Carole’s passing. We were co-workers for several years at ServiceNet, where we commiserated with each other. We also shared some craft fair experiences. I always enjoyed chatting with Carole, especially hearing about her feathered and furry friends. My sincere condolences.
